Practical Exploration of The Teaching Mode of Application-oriented Talents Training for Economics in Independent Colleges

Abstract: In teaching activities, the independent college introduces the concept of market and competition, combines the needs of era, and takes the cultivation of application-oriented talents with theoretical knowledge as the support and strong practical ability as the main goal. However, economics, as a basic subject which is not concrete and requires a higher understanding ability, is bound to appear empty and boring in the previous teaching model. Based on the characteristics and current situation of independent colleges, this paper discusses how to train applied talents more effectively and directly in the subsequent development of economics teaching from the perspective of practice and the characteristics of students themselves.
