Abstract: Original film background music is a common form of music in modern movies. Through the origi-nal musicians' work, the film in the theme, picture modeling, character image, the theme, the character image and so on become better. “The Wandering Earth” is one of the most popular and highest-grossing Chinese films in recent years, in which the original film background music has played an important role in the success of the film. This paper discusses the function of original filmbackground music in movies.
