Recognition and Feature Analysis of Lane Changing and Overtaking Behavior in Urban Tunnels

Abstract: Long-term sampling of real-time traffic conditions in a city tunnel in Chongqing was carried out using the vehicle operation monitoring and recognition system, and the illegal lane change and overtaking be-havior were identified by comparing the queue sequence of vehicles at the entrance and exit of the tunnel; the illegal lane change, overtaking behavior and real-time traffic parameters were analyzed based on these law, relevant measures and suggestions are put forward.
