Abstract: Education is the foundation of a country, and ideological and political education is the most important part of education. However, the continuous development of the times has posed a new challenge to the ideological and political education system in colleges and universities. How to meet the needs of the times is a difficult problem, but also the key to solve the problem. If we want to find out the way and the solution, we need to give the ideological and political education an accurate orientation, correctly understand the development trend and mission, meet the development needs of students, strengthen the research on path innovation, and constantly improve the educational methods, which can make the ideological and political education in colleges and universities develop and progress continuously.
