Abstract: The study deeply explores the differences in the pensioneconomy between urban and rural elderly in China. Through data analysis, itreveals the significant differences in pension insurance participation, financialsupport sources and levels between urban and rural elderly, and provides targetedcountermeasures and suggestions. . The research helps to carry out moretargeted reform and improvement of the social security system to better meetthe pension needs of the elderly in different regions, and provides usefulreference for promoting the sustainable development of China's aging cause.
