Optimization Method of HEVC Intra Coding based on Micro Video

Abstract: In order to reduce the complexity of efficient video coding, a HEVC fast intra coding algorithm is proposed. According to the texture complexity of video image, skip or stop the division of coding units of some sizes in advance to reduce the PU depth traversal interval; at the same time, according to the statistical characteristics of prediction mode and generation value after the rough selection process, adopt threshold method or gradient mode histogram method to further screen out the prediction mode with less possibility after the rough selection, so as to reduce the final rate distortion cost The number of intra prediction modes is calculated to further reduce the coding complexity. The experimental results show that compared with the original HEVC platform, the algorithm in this paper reduces the coding time on average, increases the bit rate about, and reduces the peak signal-to-noise ratio in the full frame coding mode, which is conducive to real-time application.
