Abstract: In order to cope with the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform, China has started a new engineering construction characterized by "new concept, new structure, new model, new quality and new system". In this context, the specialty of optoelectronic information must give play to its specialty characteristics and talent training advantages. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the construction of teachers in the specialty of photoelectric information under the new engineering background. Based on photoelectric information characteristics are summarized, put forward under the background of new engineering problems of photoelectric information characteristic professional faculty construction, and puts forward the new engineering characteristics under the background of photoelectric information professional teachers construction plan, in order to new engineering construction of professional teachers under the background of photoelectric information characteristics and practice to provide the reference and reference.
