Analysis on the Research Status of Compensation Shrinkage Mortar

Abstract: As a commonly used building material in modern construction, cement-based materials have obvious advantages, but they have the shortcomings of dry shrinkage and cracking, which greatly affects the quality of the project and has certain hidden safety risks. This paper summarizes and analyzes the methods of compensating the shrinkage of the mortar. The results indicate that the polypropylene fiber can reduce the shrinkage of the mortar, reduce or disappear the large cracks, and refine the cracks. The expansion agent compensates the shrinkage of the mortar by generating different expansion sources. The expansion effect of the double expansion source expansion agent is often better than that of the single expansion source; shrinkage reducing agent can effectively reduce the shrinkage of the mortar and is the most effective additive for reducing the shrinkage of the mortar.
