Abstract: Considering the high ammonia concentration to the negative influence of the growth in the poultry house, In this paper, a ammonia concentration monitoring and controlling system was designed. The ammonia concentration was detected in real time. Variable frequency convertor is used to adjust the speed of fan based on fuzzy control technology, in order to monitor the real-time ammonia concentration in poultry house. Based on the Labview software development platform, the monitoring data could be shown real-timely, processed, saved, and queried. The test results showed that the monitoring and controlling system was feasible and applicable, the ammonia concentration in poultry house could be maintained at the needed level, the relative error was 6.25%. The system could supply a good environment for the growth and development of the poultry, and the subjectivity and random of manual operation was avoided, so it has good practical value and prospect of using.
