A Study on The Status of National Music in Chinese Music Education

Abstract: With the development of economy and the progress of society, Chinese culture has been influenced by foreign culture, especially in adolescents. To deal with the relationship between the national spirit and the spirit of the times is the premise to guarantee and carry forward the national spirit. National music is the embodiment of national spirit, so we must attach importance to the status of national music in Chinese music education. This paper briefly introduces the present situation of folk music, and expounds the important position of national music in Chinese music education.
