A Study of College English Teaching based on the Theory of Applied Linguistics

Abstract: English is the common language in the world, and it plays an important role in the communication between countries. We have to learn English from primary school to university, so how to improve the English proficiency of college students should be guided by the theory of linguistics. Applied theory is widely used in various languages, especially in the study of English. Only by constantly innovating linguistic theory can college students learn English more easily.
