Landscape Planning and Preference Design based on Regional Characteristics

Abstract: Regional characteristics are not only the characteristics of a region, but also the unique components of a region. Regional characteristics are gradually formed and preserved in local customs and habits, and landscape architecture is an important part of the region. The regional features of Jiangnan water town, small Bridges and flowing water form the garden-like landscape of Suzhou, while the northern pavilions, birds' chirping and flowers' fragrance form a closed garden. Regional characteristics affect the aesthetic characteris-tics and aesthetic concepts of the masses. Under the regional characteristics, the design of landscape architec-ture has a unique meaning and value, and it should make specific choices according to the styles and au-diences of different regions.
