Abstract: Facing the problem that manages the clean renewable energy more reasonable in California (CA), Arizona (AZ), New Mexico (NM) and Texas (TX), we analyze the evolution of energy in the four states, in the last 50 years. First, we divide energy into three types: non-renewable energy, clean renewable energy, and nuclear energy. Then, we establish HP filter model to decompose the data series of various energy into long-term trend and cyclical trend. At the same time, we research the trend and the cyclicity of the energy evolu-tion respectively. After that, we find that not all kinds of energy are cyclical in the evolution. Finally, com-bined with geography, industry, scientific research and other factors, we find that there are great differences in energy evolution among different states, but most of them are stepping up efforts to develop the clean renewable energy and the nuclear power industry.
