Pedestrian Urban Public Space Design under TOD Concept

Abstract: Starting from the historical evolution of pedestrian space, this paper discusses the social interaction and public life quality of urban street space, analyzes the structure, shape, scale and change characteristics of urban neighborhood, discusses the successful experience of pedestrian landscape street design at home and abroad, puts forward the design method of pedestrian urban public space under TOD concept, and puts forward the urban street space as urban public space Planning strategy to improve the living conditions of residents, revitalize the commercial and cultural functions, and form a unique traditional style and features.
