OnCultivating Students’ Intercultural Communication Ability in College EnglishTeaching under the Background of Belt and Road Initiative

Abstract: The implement of belt and road initiative in the new periodmeans that economic and cultural exchanges become much more frequent and goinginto the depth, which has brought both opportunities and challenges touniversities’ training foreign language brains equipped with interculturalcommunication ability. This paper, focusing on the current situation of collegeEnglish teaching, has analyzed the problems existing in the cultivation ofstudents’ ability of intercultural communication in teaching occasions, and putforward feasible methods in response.
