Review of Studies on Critical Discourse Analysis Conducted by Chinese Scholars in 2019

Abstract: This paper reviews the studies on Critical Discourse Analysis conducted by Chinese scholars in 2019. Basing on a statistic analysis and summary of research content, it concludes that related studies prosper in exploring a transdisciplinary approach in theory and achieving innovation in methodology, research interests are attracted by new discourse genres while constructions of image and discourse remain the research hotspots, the inadequacy in current studies may enlighten a direction for future research.
