An Analysis of the Advantages and Disadvantages of Network Platform Teaching in English Teaching

Abstract: The mainstream teaching mode in English teaching is traditional face-to-face teaching and network platform teaching, both of which have their characteristics. The 21st century is the era of digitalization and knowledge economy. With the rapid development of science and technology and the popularization of multimedia and network technology, network teaching is more and more widely used in English teaching. This paper briefly analyzes the theoretical basis of network platform teaching and the necessity of implementing network platform English teaching, focusing on the advantages and disadvantages of network platform English teaching, so as to provide reform ideas for promoting network platform English teaching better.
