The Influence of Chinese Marxism on the Construction of the Core Values of College Students

Abstract: The Chinese Marxism is the process of forming a Marxist theoretical system with Chinese characteristics, which provides an important theoretical basis for the construction of the core values of college students. The materialistic historical view in Chinese Marxism guides college students to recognize the essence when solving practical problems and emphasizes the influence of practical action; the theory of seeking truth from facts in Marxism inspires college students to keep feet on the ground and learn humbly; the development concept of people-oriented inspires college students to cherish the people and pay attention allround development, also with patriotism and the initiative to devote to socialist construction. On the basis of absorbing the basic theory of Marxism, this paper analyzes the influence of Chinese Marxism on the construction of the core values of college students, with a view to establish the correct core values of socialism and guiding them to devote themselves to socialist construction.
