Forearm of Industrial Robot Reliability Analysis Based on Response Surface & Stochastic Finite Element Method

Abstract: Based on the APDL language of ANSYS industrial robot forearm structure parameters of finite element model is established, and deterministic finite element is analyzed, utilizing the sample point that after Monte Carlo simple sampling to fitting arm structure, getting the analytic expression of response variables (reliability function) with random input variables, instead of the finite element model of a large number of Monte Carlo sampling and obtaining the reliability of the arm structure to overcome the disadvantage that direct Monte Carlo method requires a huge sample and calling the finite element model needs long time.
