An Improved Optimization Model of Multi-layer Network in Wireless Networks

Abstract: In order to solve the problems of multi-layer network energy consumption, for the multi-layer net-work with an IP layer, TDM layer and optical layers 3-layer structure, ITO model is proposed in this paper. The modules sleeping of multi-granularity, traffic multistage grooming and bypass, the route of energy aware and varieties of energy-saving were discussed in the model. According to the specification parameters of ac-tual network equipment to explore how different combinations of network layer, dynamic power dissipation dynamic power of network equipment and modular structure impact on energy optimization of multi-layer network by corresponding experiments. Experimental results show that: The power consumption of the net-work can effectively be reduced by using the model in this article.
