Overview of Axle ｌｏａｄ Conversion Formula for Asphalt Pavement

Abstract: Based on the elastic layered theory system, based on the mechanical response of the asphalt pave-ment, and using the equivalent principle, an overview is made of the asphalt road surface with surface deflection, base tensile stress, subgrade compressive stress, and interlaminar shear stress. On this basis, the effects of dynamic ｌｏａｄ and seasonal changes on the axle ｌｏａｄ conversion are discussed and the axle ｌｏａｄ conversion formulae applicable to dynamic loads and seasonal variations are listed. The results show that the axle ｌｏａｄ conversion formulas obtained when the axle ｌｏａｄ conversions are performed with different mechanical indexes are similar, that is, the axle structure obtained when the axial ｌｏａｄ formulas are converted with different mechanical indexes are similar when the pavement structure is designed; furthermore, the dynamic ｌｏａｄ and season The correction factor makes axle ｌｏａｄ conversion more suitable for actual projects.
