Analysis of Deformation and Instability of Granite Slope and Its Characteristics

Abstract: the granite soil slope is generally composed of granite weathering soil (composed of granite resi-dual soil, fully weathered granite and strongly weathered granite) and the granite bedrock of the lower layer (composed of medium weathered granite, weakly weathered granite and fresh granite), and the granite be-drock soil in the slope is considered as a kind of rock soil. The mechanical properties are good and the engi-neering performance is stable, but the engineering properties of granite weathered soil are more complicated. This paper studies the deformation and instability of granite slope, and provides reference for the design, construction and operation of such slopes.
