Abstract: Condensate ice has the worst effect on the road surface. Firstly, the anti-sliding ability of the road surface is reduced. Secondly, the road surface structure is damaged and the service life is shortened. The most serious is the traffic accidents, people's lives and production cannot be carried out normally, and the people’s safety and social economy are endangered. In this paper, from the perspective of active deicing technology, the chemical deicing method using antifreezing agent, the physical deicing method using high elastic materials, the comprehensive deicing method of physical and chemical effects, and the thermal melting snow method are analyzed to illustrate. The characteristics and general conditions of the deicing methods are summed up to provide references for the research of new deicing technologies for asphalt pavements.
