Comprehensive Evaluation of the Competitiveness of Listed Companies in the Retail Industry

Abstract: This article takes 20 A-share listed companies in the retail industry as a research sample, selects the relevant financial data of each company for three years from 2016, 2017, and 2018, and selects a total of 10 from the four aspects of profitability, solvency, operating capacity and development potential Index, first use factor analysis to calculate the comprehensive scores of the sample companies for each year, based on this, use the weighted Topsis method to get the optimal factor program closeness, and then sort them. Finally, the competitiveness of the selected 20 listed companies is evaluated. Overview, the results show that the overall competitiveness of listed companies in the retail industry is not strong, and there is much room for improve-ment in the entire industry.
