The Effect of Foundation Differential Settlementon Mechanical Properties of Continuous Rigid Frame Bridge

Abstract: Effect that the Foundation settlement did on bridge happens, therefore, some preventive measures must be made according to the degree of damage while the bridge designed and built. Settlement is related to geological conditions and support forms at the same time. Therefore, the study of effect of continuous frame bridge that uneven settlement of foundation did has theoretical significance and use value. This article combining with practical, take the T shape rigid frame bridge located in Baoshan (Daguancity)-longling (Longka mountain Highway sixth Contract period for example, establish the bridge model with MIDAS, add 2cm Forced displacement on each six bearing of main bridge according to model features, simulation settlement situation, through Comparative analysis data for various situation, summary out the impact degree that most disadvantageous situation and different situation did on bridge.
