Abstract: In order to determine the personnel escape situation of a small radius curve urban tunnel in the event of fire, the article relies on the small radius curve tunnel of a certain city in Chongqing as the project, and analyzes and explores different fire sizes under different ventilation conditions through FDS and Path-finder software. Radius curve The time of personnel escape during tunnel fires and the location of casualties. Studies have shown that fires occur under the conditions of congestion in urban tunnels. When the wind speed of the tunnel section is 0m/s, as long as the fire escapes within 30s after the fire occurs, the trapped persons located upstream and downstream of the fire source can successfully escape. When the wind speed is 1m/s, the fire source size is 20mw. After the fire occurs for 30s, it will start to escape. It is located in the range of 20m~30m downstream of the fire source. A small number of people trapped in the bus cannot escape success-fully.
